With the end of my 20’s fast approaching, there are some changed I have to make where my body and food are concerned.
In my school days, I hated eating breakfast, my mum would make me a sandwich and force feed it to me on the way to school. In varsity there was just never enough time in the day to eat so I skipped breakfast and now that I am out of school, there still isn’t enough time to have breakfast… all I manage is a cup of coffee before its time to hit the road…sometimes I have to have the coffee to go.
But now that I have under 2 months to go before we entry the 3rd decade of my life, I thought why not make some changes, get up a bit earlier and make a proper breakfast seeing as breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Since my mum has become a vegetarian, I have unlocked a new world that I once scorned upon. Vegan food… I won’t lie when I used to hear the word vegan, I turned my head in the opposite direction and didn’t want to eat it.
Now that I have actually made a couple of vegan dishes and tasted some vegan food, I am open to everything vegan, including smoothie bowls.
I randomly searched smoothie bowls on google when I came across this recipe, it is quick and easy and believe it or not I actually had all the ingredients in my freezer and pantry.
